my list is actually getting smaller and that feels great to me. on the wall above my desk are a number of post-it’s that will soon be obsolete (why I can’t seem to complete one of these bad boys at a time is beyond me but before the year is through I’m going to do some major cleaning). really the fact that it’s coming down feels great.
installment was starting a savings account for my new notebook :) as a child I begged for one (only to be clowned) and as an adult practicality kept me from buying one because it could not run autocad but now, well in a few months, I am going to finally buy my apple computer; not for graphics but for all my hobbies that seem to be computer oriented. yay! and no, I promise that I will not turn in to one of those people who thinks that they are better than the average joe just because I have an apple.
why now? I don’t know, why not. but much bigger than my little 13.3″ monitor (no not the air just a pro) is the fact that I’ve been spending time working on my budget and researching saving account options and doing all that boring stuff that I tend to dread but feel so great about once its done. times like these really suck when it comes to reviewing finances and spending more on a savings account might not make sense to everyone but it just makes sense to me, sure I’ll still be broke but as the clouds lift I’ll actually have something I can truly smile about instead of just a bunch of stuff that I probably didn’t want so much anyway. I’ve also increased my 401k contributions (my birthday’s still don’t officially move backwards). a great deal of my life has been spent doing what I’m supposed to be doing half of the time; well now I’d like to see what doing it all the time gets me!
. . . did I mention that I’m getting my logo laser engraved on my notebook :) pictures will follow

oh yeah, and I finally replaced ALL4 of the cartridges on my printer, seems they expired and for some reason the printer not only knew this but refused to print until they were replaced. . . . the printer won that match . . . I put up a good fight
but the expired in ‘07 and it just stopped printing this year (maybe last), what is up with that? does anyone know hp’s expiration window?
still, cross it off the list ;)
